Unfortunately, we forget that oftentimes the humidity that appears after long rainy periods inside buildings is due to a complex process caused by a set of factors such as capillary damage to paint and plaster.
When an outside face is affected by this, water gets inside the curtain walls and starts freezing. As it expands, it continues to demolish the face, and as the temperature rises, as it evaporates, on the outside it attracts salt and bloom (typical of rising damp issues). USE
When you notice this, you think about tackling the problem with something that protects the wall fromexposure to the rain, without considering the fact that waterproofing any product is not enough. You have to make sure that the product has other characteristic not just water-proofing or to prevent formation of mildew and lichen, but that that also and also offers a solution to cracks and micro-cracks.
