Description

Rising damp is one of the main causes of deterioration in walls, both internal and external. Water coming from the ground flows through the capillaries of the building materials, carrying mineral salts (nitrates, sulphates, chlorides) which, crystallising, cause:

detachment and flaking of the plaster
persistent stains and halos
white efflorescences
loss of cohesion of the masonry

Thanks to ISOBELL’s high breathability, the internal relative humidity is reduced while the wall’s surface temperature increases.
