Double component adhesive skim coat, optimized for ISOBELL® bonding and skim coating. Adhesion, workability and pot-life are ideal to execute easily bonding and skim coating, ensuring durability of the applied system over time.
Use
Bonding and skim coating of the ISOBELL® membrane surface.
Thick skim coating to smooth traditional plasterings (lime or lime-cement base). Breathable skim coating on dehumidifying plastering. Skim coating on porous supports such as: breathable skim coatings of wall envelopes; skim coatings on modular coatings of wood fiber or calcium silicate; skim coatings of concrete surfaces; smoothing and skim coating of restorations made with cement mortars; applications of thin layers (1-4 mm) with simultaneous leveling of grooves, imperfections, etc. The breathability, united with other chemical-physical characteristics of the product, make the skim coating made with BIOMIX COMFORT an ideal support to meet each type of paint, in particular mineral paintings based on potassium silicate or lime putty.
Unsuitable for skim coating of floors and screeds. Do not apply directly on plaster supports.
Features
POT LIFE: once kneaded, the double-component mix lasts about 3 hours;
CONSUMO: 2 – 2,5 kg/m² per bonding with 4-5 mm notched trowel;
2 – 2,5 kg/m² for double layer skim coating;
ESSICCAZIONE: dry at touch in 6 hours; in-depth dry in 24-48 hours; data referred at 20 °C and 65% RH. Drying times depend strictly by humidity and temperature.
CONFEZIONE: 25 kg.
